Rice House Event Venue - Richmond VA

Contact us for more information regarding the Rice House, a former private residence turned event venue in Richmond. Designed by modernist architect Richard Neutra, the stunning home was built in the mid-1960s on Lock Island IN the James RIver.  The house features strong horizontal elements detailed in what appear to be concrete, but are actually faced wood and steel beams.  The living room of the Rice House offers a view overlooking the James River. Other details of the house follow the International Style: exterior railings, balconies and layered, flat roofs.

A Georgetown Wedding

Even the threat of thunderstorms didn't dampen the mood in Georgetown, SC this weekend at a beautiful reception designed by Yoj Events (a Charleston based event planner). Mosaic was excited to participate with a mini entree station, shrimp & grits bar & vertical buffet picking station.  We look forward to returning to the Georgetown area soon!

Congratulations Heather & Jason. Not only was the weather picture perfect - the wedding was too. Burlap and antique lace transformed Pepper Plantation in a rustic meets vintage gem. Event menus included: butler passed hors d'ouevres, gourmet picking table, mini entree bar as well as a southern grits bar. As guests danced the night away, we filled antique cake plates with hand assemble cake shooters.

Thanks to: Ooh! Events, Brittany Van Rensburg of For the Love of Brides, and some incredibly creative clients for helping to pull off a great event.
